Selecting multiple items

I'm doing a major clean-up of my sources and it would be great if I could selected a group of say 6 contiguous sources, then right click and delete them all instead of each individually. Am I missing something that can be done with key strokes? Have tried the standard shift, control, alt and and command keys. Thanks-

I've struggled with this issue also. Unfortunately, there is no easier way out than one-by-one.
