    Change Log Question

I just purchased an upgrade to version 13 from version 11. One of the main reasons was the change log.
I have converted my version 11 family file to version 13.
The change log is empty. I have "All" selected in the drop down menu at the top left.
The oldest entry listed in the tools menu is 31 Dec 1970, which is usually used as a place holder when the Mac cannot establish a creation date.
I have made changes to my family file within the last week.
How is the change log generated?
Does it go back to changes made before the family file is upgraded to version 13?
The Help File (User manual) does not cover this issue.

As the Change Log is a new feature that tracks changes in a way that was not present in prior versions of Reunion, the Change Log will be empty after upgrading - you will only see changes made after the upgrade in the log.

Thanks Mark. Really appreciate the prompt reply.
Maybe a line can be added to the New Features Page and the manual to inform users?
"The Change Log feature keeps track of the changes made to a family file, making it easy to see what's been changed (when and where, too!) and making it easy to navigate directly to the records and fields that have changed. Only changes made after upgrading to version 13 will appear in the change log."

      Thanks again.

There has been a whole section in the manual since 13 was released. Click on the ? in the lower left of all screens and type "change log" in the search box.
