In the couple weeks between the release of 14.5.1 and today's release of 14.6, I was having a couple of weird connection problems with other apps. Apps similar in operation in that they constantly reach out to a distant server. Whatever the bug fixes are in 14.6, the problems are now gone. Suggest you try update to 14.6 to see if that solves your problem.
