data from field missing in sources

So something is very wrong. This morning I was reviewing some sources that I created using a custom source template that I created. I noticed that some data is missing in some of my sources- all coming from the same field . Of about 50 sources half are missing entries in this field. I know this isn't just a matter of me not entering it because every source I create or modify I copy into a Google Sheet - and the entries are there. Now I am worried that data is missing from other templates. I have well over 1000 sources and feel like I need to trudge through every one of them.

I did encounter an error yesterday trying to update reunion I don't know if that could have anything to do with it or not. I successfully updated this morning.

Any suggestions on what could have happened here?

I would recommend making sure you've opened the most recent copy of your family file, as the first step here. It sounds like you may have inadvertently opened an older copy that doesn't contain the most recent data.

Try searching:

.familyfile13.

In a Finder window, to bring up any Reunion 13 family files on your Mac. Then, if you see multiple copies of your file, open them (one at a time) and see if one of them contains the data.

If you find one that does, make sure you use that file moving forward.

It's the most recent copy - but going backwards some, this error is there before I upgraded to 13. It's definitely weird. So far I am only finding the error with this one template and only this field is missing data (at least so far). But it does seem that of 50 sources about 40 were missing this data. If it wasn't for the fact that I copied each source to Google Sheets, then I would have thought I just omitted the data.

This data wasn't there at all in any other copies I have of the family file.
