This person is in the Clipboard

After some hairy merging, all of a sudden this couple got a UNNAMED sex-less child. When clicking on this profile, I get the message "This person is in the Clipboard. Do you want to remove the person from the Clipboard and create a new record for him/her?". I've checked the Clipboard, and it's empty. When editing the UNNAMED profile, it still belongs to the couple, but when I click on the profile, it has neither parents nor siblings. When deleting this profile, it just ends back as an UNNAMED sex-less child of the couple. What is this? Why can't I get rid of this UNNAMED profile?

Try dragging the UNNAMED child to the Clipboard (even though you're being told that child is already in the Clipboard) then you can drag the child back out of the Clipboard to the parents or simply delete the child in the Clipboard and create a new child.

Thanks, Gregg. That didn't work. The UNNAMED child did still not appear in the Clipboard after dragging it to the Clipboard.

But hey! What actually DID work was to EDIT the UNNAMED child, and THEN drag it to the Clipboard and back to it's parents - and THEN delete it. Thanks :-)
