    Export Selected Persons

Is it possible to select individuals (not necessarily related) and then export them via GEDCOM for future import into another family file?

I have a branch of the family which is developing such that it probably warrants its own separate family file.

I'm sure there is a way but I've not been able to find it

First of all, do not export using GEDCOM to create a new family file. GEDCOM does not carry all information with it. Export a family file.

Unmark the file, then mark the branch you want to export.
    Go to FIle>Export>Reunion File
    Select Marked People. Export.

Thirdly, many users of Reunion have found that having separate family files for separate branches to cause more issues than it saves.

I thought there must be a way of doing it but I just couldn't find it.

Thank you for the tip regarding separate files for separate branches. I was a little unsure as to whether it would be worth having them as separate entities.
