Numbering

Is it possible to refresh the numbering set for a descendant or ascendant branch of the family when new individuals and families are imported? Existing numbering I have set for descendants are not carried through to any additional children and their families entered/imported.

Hi,

If you go to Change / Numbering you can re-assign the numbering. That should assign numbers to the new entries.

Thanks for that, but the dialog shown does not include all of the current settings for the current numbering set, and it works as if I want to recreate the numbering from scratch. I have a user prefix set for legal numbering which is not shown, and the current numbering style shown in the preview is incorrect, so I have to make sure I have the root person (for descendant numbering), and check the prefix used, and OK the dialog which effectively re-creates the numbering system for that family. Would be good if additions to the family have the current numbering carried over from either parent.
