is there a simple way to see the number of descendants?

    hello everyone

i am currently working on an order by a customer. now, i found out that his family tree connects with one of the largest ones we have on our database, meaning he and some other past customers share a lot of their ancestors.

now, i would like to tell the customer an approximate number of how many entries we already have for his family. but as it goes into the thousands, i of course don't want to manually count them and was hoping knows of a way to simply display the amount of descendants of a specific person are on record. i guess i can generate a numbered report and find out that way but i was wondering whether there is a way to find it directly in the software/interface

also, i just generated a register report and noticed that it does actually not count all descendants. because it doesnt give any numbers to the last generation in each line, at least if they are unmarried. is there any way to number those too? they are only listed as children of their parents

    thank you very much

You can do this by Marking the descendants of the couple in question - Unmark Everybody first and then the number of Marked Cards will be the number of descendants. Don't mark the spouses.

The number of descendants of a person appears in the new Summary sidebar (a new feature in Reunion 13).
