Help printing a book with REUNION

I want to use the Reports/Book facility to print out a book covering information about as many of the 13,000 people in my tree as possible. Can anyone suggest the best FORMAT setting in the BOOK options to do this? REGISTER? FAMILY HISTORY? ANCESTOR? HOURGLASS? or RELATIVE? Or have I no option other than to print out specific branches separately? Many thanks.

While you're waiting on feedback from others, I would suggest you review BOOK section of the manual (Help --> Contents).

I have found it to be incredibly thorough and detailed. Once you've formed an opinion on which types of charts are "best" for your needs, you should have no problem creating your book.

The choice depends somewhat on who the intended audience will be. In my case, I publish a book in the narrative Register Report format as a .pdf file that I upload to Dropbox. Then, I email all interested family members with a link to the file so they can download it, since it's now too large to just attach to the email. I continue to gather new information and sometimes receive corrections or additions to my Tree from family members or my own searches using Ancestry.com or FamilySearch.com. Every month or so, I update the Book file in Reunion and generate a new .pdf replacing the existing file on Dropbox but keeping the same name so that the link always points to the most updated file. The only disadvantage of the Register Report format that I've found is that it doesn't display much information about a spouse's family (other than the spouse's parents' names and dates), so if I have more info in my Tree on a particular person who married into the family, the Book will not show that information.
