    Small question on entering surnames

I have all family files set up so that surnames entered are automatically uppercase like John DOE. Is there a way to make exceptions such as MacLEOD, McANDREWS, DiSERRA, and DeNOVA?

Yes. In order to tell Reunion to not convert the entire contents of the Last Name field to UPPERCASE, you would enter the surname exactly as you want it. Then, press and hold the "Option" key on your keyboard as you "tab" out of the Last Name field.

Additional information about this process can be found in the manual by searching for "uppercase." The first search result "Last Name UPPERCASE button" would be the one you want to read. To access the manual, open your family file and click on the "?" in the lower-left corner of just about any Reunion window or choose Help -> Contents.

I hope you find this information helpful
