    Deleting people from a tree

A poser that I have yet to solve. The help menu recommends using clipboard to delete people to avoid issues later with the tree. I have been trying to delete someone and Reunion is saying that I need to go to the family view screen and drag the child’s button to the clipboard. The family tree show me 3 children. The one I want to remove is child 8 and selecting him by the drop down link doesn’t work. How do I get child 8 onto a family screen view?
    thanks

My suggestion based on your using buttons for the children. Go to Preferences > Family View. Click on the Children button. About halfway down, there is "Show button in a list" I am assuming that is not checked. Check it then go back to the record in question. With the children now viewed as a list, you will be able to scroll down to that number 8 child and drag him to the clipboard. After that, go back to Preferences and uncheck the list condition to get back your buttons view.
