    Importing digital documents into Reunion

I have numerous digital documents (naturalization, birth and marriage) that I would like to import into Reunion, but don't know how to do that. I have been able to import digital photos, but can't figure out if Reunion can store digital source files.

Does anyone know how this is done?

Add to multimedia. I have literally hundreds of digital documents there, ranging from newspaper clippings to original letters to school transcripts.

Reunion stores thumbnails of multimedia to display, but actually links to the original files. I put new files in a folder called "Reunion Pictures" inside the "Reunion Files" folder on Dropbox, so I can access all of my media whether at home or elsewhere. Any new documents, scans, or photos are put here first. Next, I create a source detailing where I got the information and linking the media file to that source. Then, I cite that source whenever I add any data (events or facts) drawn from that source. I also add it to the multimedia section for the appropriate person.

I do pretty much the same thing. The only thing different from how I do it is the name of the folder that I store digital source files is called "Digital Sources" and it is stored on my hard drive, but NOT on Dropbox. I can still access images of the sources on my phone in Reunion Touch, but only the first page.

thomprod, can you see more than the first page of your source files on your phone and/or iPad in Reunion Touch when you put those files on Dropbox or do you open the source files outside of Reunion Touch?

I can only see the first page of multi-page multimedia in Reunion Touch. If I need to see more, I open the document itself using the Dropbox app.
