Creating Descendant Chart

I'm trying to share a descendant chart with a cousin and am having some issue. I've saved as boxchart13 and forwarded the chart in an email.
My cousin claims that the attachment is grey in color and blank other than it's name. How do I save this chart with a different color background?

Your cousin would need a copy of Reunion to open a boxchart file. SO.... Create the chart, go to File > Save Graphic File. Choose which format and save. Formats available are TIFF, PNG, JPEG and PDF. If the cousin is only going to be looking at it, I recommend saving as a PDF.
