My family tree on Ancestry was covered by two trees, on for my father's side, and one for my mother's side. To aid my Ancestry DNA research I really needed a combined tree. A merge on Ancestry is not possible, so I considered the tedious task of rebuilding one of the trees to cover both sides of the family. Ugh.
But then I remembered Reunion can merge trees. So I downloaded the GEDCOM files for both Ancestry trees and merged them in Reunion. After a little tweaking they looked great, so I uploaded the combined GEDCOM file back to Ancestry. Problem solved!
Thanks Reunion.
