Naming Islands

I have several intentionally created islands of potentially related individuals I believe to be related but haven't been able to verify yet. Is there a way to rename the islands from the default island number to something more descriptive?

Yes. When an island name is selected (highlighted) in the top section, click on the Island name. That puts it into an edit mode so you can change the name.

I have renamed my Islands by surname. Now that I've done this, is there a way to sort these islands such that they are listed in alphabetical order? Thank you.

There is no way for you to sort the Islands alphabetically.

However, I will add a request to our wish list to consider adding this as a feature in a future version upgrade of Reunion. As with all feature requests, I cannot make any promises as to when or if they will be implemented. But, I can promise they will be considered as we work to improve Reunion
