timeline chart for only one generation?

This is a multi-step process. However, easiest way I found to identify all people in the 10th generation and create a Timeline chart for those people is to do the following...
1. Open your family file and click on the Mark icon at the bottom of the People sidebar (on the right). Then, select the option to "Unmark Everybody in Family File."
2. Then, go to your family view (where you are shown in the center of the family view, beside a spouse or alone) and choose Create -> Relative Chart.
3. When setting up the Relative Chart, make sure to go "Up" at least 10 generations. Then, click Create Chart.
4. On the Relative Chart, Control-click (or right-click) on the box of a person (or couple) in the 10th generation of ancestors. Then, select "Select boxes -> Generation" from the menu that appears.
5. Next, Control-click (or right-click) on that same box and select "Mark People in Selected Boxes" from the menu that appears.
6. Afterward, the Relative chart can be closed without saving it.
7. Finally, choose Charts -> Timeline, select the option to create it for "Marked people," and click Create Chart.
