Print Chart is printing white text?

UPDATE Hi, I hope it is OK to ask this question. I fear it might be user error or my printer.
I am having an issue printing a Chart. I created a simple Ancestor 5 Gen chart just for practise as I haven't done any charting for ages. But (1) the ancestor chart automatically choses fill colours for the generations. I'd like to just create a chart in black and white to start with. Worse though is that the text prints white!! I have tried every setting I can find in both Reunion and my Printer settings, but I can't fix it. I am running through my printer ink testing to see if I have solved it. The saved PDF image and/or the image on screen/Preview looks absolutely fine. I suspect this is a problem with my printer software because it used to print out fine. But I updated the printer driver a couple of days ago. So I am not blaming Reunion but I have no idea how to fix this. A Word text document prints fine.

In case anyone else has a similar issue, I now think it is a problem with the OS Monterey 12.5.1 update which I downloaded 10 days or so ago. As far as I can see the only solution is for Apple to fix the glitch.

For what it's worth, I'm running 12.5.1 and not having problems. Does printing the PDF generated from Reunion result in white text from the printer?
