    Batch change of surname

Is there a way in Reunion to change several dozen surnames in a batch, ie without changing them individually? The required change is only to add one letter.

Have you tried 'Find and Replace'? It's in left column in find. Trouble with that, though, is it will correct all instances of the name in any area. If that is OK, try it, but on a duplicate first, just to be safe.

Find and Replace can be restricted to just the last name field (and further restricted to "Whole field only"). Combined with the ability to apply to only marked people, it's easy to target the change pretty precisely.

Good to know, as I was only replying from memory and not actually going to it. Sounds perfect for Tony Goring!

Yes, Find and Replace works perfectly. Many thanks.
