I've been able to add someone to my family file as a relation who was previously linked only by a Connection. I think I created the Connection incorrectly (can't now remember how exactly I did it) and have deleted text in the Notes field (again, probably incorrectly) so that there's now no link showing there. But the blue icon in the Family View is still there and I can't find any way to remove it. Can anyone suggest how I do that?

The blue connection icon shows up for "incoming" connections, too, so it's possible that the person you're viewing is linked to from another person's note. You should be about to click the connection icon and see whether the connection is FROM or TO that individual.Brad Mohr

Bob, the blue icon is shown under 'The Appearance of Connections' and elsewhere in the description of Connections in the Manual. If I click that, it shows a list of Connections detailing FROM and TO as Brad says. But there's now nothing in the Notes field for either of the individuals concerned which allows me to delete the Connection.

Then, if problems continue, let us know what macOS is running on your Mac. (This can be found by clicking the Apple icon and selecting About This Mac.) Also, it would be helpful to know the version/build of Reunion that is running on your Mac. (The version/build of Reunion can be found by opening your family file and choosing Reunion -> About Reunion.)

Afraid it doesn’t help, Bob. I could only get the list of Connections. Couldn’t find a way of getting the window with the Remove button.
But thanks, Deb. Quitting/restarting Reunion and then Rebuilding Cache Files worked. The icons have disappeared and no references to the Connection remain. In case other users experience the problem in the future, I’m running Ventura 13.2.1 and Reunion 13 (build: 221018).
