    Detached sources

I can't find this exact subject in Reunion Talk. About a month ago I realized that I had over 20 "Unused Sources". After checking them they are all valid sources that have somehow become detached from people. Is there a way to attach them again? I'm guessing not, but some I will be able to reattach and some don't have enough info.
i.e. "David E. Blood, Find a Grave" I will be able to attach to him and redo all the places that use this source. However, "Find a Grave website, researched 25 Jun 2014" is a lost cause. (Lesson learned.)
Also, I have a fear of Reunion thinking that my "Unused Sources" can be overwritten by new sources.

Unfortunately you will have to manually re-cite those sources to the people/events/facts that they refer to. Unless you accidentally clicked on "remove source" while editing a person, I can't imagine how they would have become detached. New source records never overwrite existing source records, even if they have no citations. If you delete a source record, the next new source added will reuse the lowest number of all deleted source records.
