    Event labelled *New[CHAN] or *New[CREA] ????

When I create a list of events, in addition to what I expect to see I get a handful of Events that are labelled, where I would normally see "Birth" or "Death", as *New[CHAN]" and *New[CREA]". When I look at the person files in Family View, this field does not appear under Events or Facts, so I can't see how to delete it. I am guessing it might be the date that I CREAted or CHANged a record, but if that were the case I would expect to see it for all my people, not just a select handful of them. Any thoughts about where I can find this field to delete from people's files? Thanks!

usage tell you how many times the above is used.click deleted them Some time if you do a GEDCOM from another family tree program you will see that.

Thank you, SueM, that is very helpful, and I was able to start doing individual deletions. By any chance, do you know a way to delete ALL New[Chan] fields at once? I checked the Tutorial, and also tried looking for a bulk-edit feature in the Usage list, but no luck. But if not, I still thank you sincerely for helping me locate and delete these pesky fields. Much appreciated.
