Merging two Reunion files

Hi - I need to merge two Reunion files. There are NO common people in them, and I've read the instructions for doing this. But I wonder what happens to the sources. I would prefer that the file I am merging into the original one will have the sources renumbered -- and the ones from the original file will be unchanged. Is that the way it works? Thanks!

Yes. When Family File A is imported into Family File B, the sources from Family FIle A will be assigned new numbers beginning with the first unused source number in Family File B.
