Strange characters in parents cards

Do all parent buttons look like that? If so, I'd recommend checking the font selected for parent names. This can be done in the Reunion -> Preferences (or Settings) > Family View / Parents panel. I.e., check the font selected in the Text section for "Names in buttons." (Note: the default font is Lucida Grande.)
