Changing Notes field size

I've just started a new family file and found a problem that doesn't appear in my other family files. In family view, the Notes field is huge, 2+ inches tall, and crowds out the child list below it. I'd like to minimize it. I found these instructions: "Click to select the field in the "Under the Couple Buttons" preview (Family View Preferences, Couple) -- you should see a black square appear at the bottom-right of the field, click-drag the black square to resize." However, doing this has zero effect--the Notes field remains the same large size. Bug? Feature?

I recommend trying this...

When looking at any family view, place your cursor to the left or right of the "+ Add Children" button and drag up. This will make the Couples area smaller and the Children area larger on the family view.

There are various factors that come into play when it comes to field sizes on the family view, such as the amount of room allotted to the Couples area of the famliy view and the amount of space allotted to the Children area and the size of the entire Reunion window.

But, having suggested this, I do see what you are seeing and will check into it.
