    Exporting GED file

I'm running Reunion 13 on an Apple 2015 iMac in Big Sur. Can I export a GED file of a tree either to my desktop or directly to MyHeritage? The possible locations don't seem to indicate that. Please advise, and thanks.

It can be written directly to your desktop but I am not sure about directly to My Heritage. Here are the steps: File > Export > GEDCOM > Make your selections > Export > Select where you want to save the GEDCOM. At the window where you make your selections there is a ? mark in the lower left if you click on it it will take you to the help page that explains this. Hope this helps..

R Wells, thanks. We did make it work and we now have a new family tree in My Heritage as well as the one in Reunion 13. Another quick question: we moved from Reunion 9 all the way to 13 in one jump. It's been a learning curve and we've done some reading. The process for adding photos to relatives in Reunion 13 seems to be very different and we haven't mastered that yet. Should photos (jpgs) be simply drug into the relative's box from desktop or from a folder, or is there something we are missing? Thanks for your help.

Click on the question mark in lower left to open the manual, then do a find on "adding multimedia items"... That section describes several methods and has recommendations. It will be time well spent.
