Subfolders under Reunion Files, and exported files in the default subfolders?

Is it safe to create other folders in the "Reunion Files" folder, and include things in the Reunion Files folders? By safe, I mean won't be blown away in a future upgrade.

For example, storing exported charts (JPEGs) in the Charts folder. Or, creating subfolders like Research, Graphics, Pictures, stuff for so and so's book, etc.

Or is it better to create a folder like "Genealogy" at the same level as Reunion Files, and store working files and exported documents there?

I had to laugh. This is EXACTLY what I do. But there is no reason why you can't put other files and folders in the "Reunion Files" folder to keep everything together. To the computer, it is just an ordinary folder like the ones you make.

Like any other folder, you can put anything you want in the Reunion Files folder. Mine has all kinds of things, has several levels of sub-folders and has grown to nearly 4 GB over the years.
