    Reports and Charts

I have used a version of Reunion for 20 years and have some questions about how reports and Charts pint out.
    1. Is there anyway to have "Events" separated in an Ancestor(used to be Ahnentafel) report? Such as what happens when you make a 'Family History Report (each event starts on a new line with Heading, i.e. Birth, Baptism, Census, etc). The Ancestor report puts each "Event" right after each other into one big paragraph-very hard to read/negotiate around!
    2. When making a 'Descendant Chart" can each event be organized in chronological order (mine show up with Birth, Death, Census, etc. ). Am I missing something or just the way the program works? Also it only includes 1 census event (which makes good sense since the box would be huge if each one was included). Just out of curiosity can you have more than one census "Event" in a chart?
    3. I have Version 13.0. Are there updates to this version?
Thank you to anyone who has advice or direction that can be provided.
    Sincerely,
    Dave

    Yes. Uncheck the "Narrative" box...

Events are shown in the order in which they appear in the Define Descendant Chart Layout panel...

You can order the Person Fields within that window. After they are in the order you want, click the "Apply to Spouse fields" button so your changes are applied to the Spouse Fields.

No. When there are multiple events or Facts of the same type, the chart will include only the first of each.

Many updates to Reunion 13 have been released. To verify you are running the most recent build of Reunion 13, open your family file and choose Help -> Check for Updates. If there is an update available, there will be a prompt to download/install it.

I hope you find this information helpful in moving forward

      Deb,
      Thank you SO much!
I didn't realize the "Check" the Narrative box. SO MUCH easier to read!
I had organized my own family file (charts chronologically) a couple of decades ago but forgot about it in all the family files I have worked on since.
      THANK YOU!

So glad I purchased Reunion for the Mac!!! I think it was Version 6 that I started with.
