    Relationship chart, 2 people to 3rd ?

is there a way to create a Relationship chart that shows my connection to a cousin, and also to him the Relationship of a cousin on his "other side" ??? So, basically there would be one box in the center (the target) and on the left my connection to him, on the right his other cousin's connection to the same box ??? Sometimes I want to show someone how we are related to a third person. I wouldn't necessarily be related to the "other side" person.

A different question nothing to do with the above did your ancestors use Deignan from Roscommon

Deigan as early as 1837, Deegan before that as far as we know. Kilkenny and Carlow. I do have a YDNA match to a Deignan tho.

I'm just spitballing here, so sorry if it doesn't work, but this might be worth trying:

          - Unmark everyone in the family file.

          - Find the two paths and mark each person on the paths.

          - Make a relative chart with the common person as the starting person, and check the box for the Prune -- Marked Relatives Only option.

If this doesn't work, you can still do the same steps without the prune option, and when the chart is in the chart editor, go to the Edit menu at the top of the screen and choose Find Anything in Boxes>Condition [Primary person marked][Yes], and then choose a box fill color. This will change the color of all the selected boxes and highlight the path between the persons of interest.

if you have living Deignan males, they would be prime for the BigY700 test at FTDNA. I've got a Deignan and Deegan that go back 500-600 years on that test.

Mike Deigan I would have to check if there any Deignan male living that lot of years, is FTDNA worth doing ? nice to talk again.

that test at FTDNA is very expensive, but it lets us see how far back we had a common guy, and when we split off. It helped resolve multiple surnames in my matches. I have tons of Higgins matches and that BigY700 determined that D*g*n is the ancestral name, rather than Higgins.
