changing the orientation of a bowtie chat

When I create a vertical bowtie chart sometimes it open left to right other times right to left. How I control that?

I'm not aware of any settings in the bowtie chart that would affect this. Is it possible that the number of generations for one spouse or the other might be making the chart look unbalanced on the right or left?

Thanks Tim, but my source person definitely appears on the right in one family's chart and the source person appears on the left with another family. Find it very curious.

The bowtie chart is designed to be used for a couple, but can be drawn for a person without a partner. The direction of the chart flow appears to be a function of the person's sex.

You're exactly right Tim. Didn't realize it was set up for couples. It charts a tree in a very clean, neat and readable form. I guess I can tolerate left to right or right to left. Thanks for your assistance.
