    Printing charts

    I have several charts that do not fit onto legal paper. I'll have them printed at Kinko/FedEx. My question, how do I save the box charts as a PDF or JPEG (without first saving them as graphic image--which compress the charts or otherwise change the desired formatting/size, etc.).

    It's been several years since I did this, but I created a custom page size in the print dialog box that would accommodate the size of the chart, select that custom size as the desired page size and then "Save as PDF from the PDF popup menu at the bottom of the print dialog box.

        that's exactly what I do, and I do it so that someone can open it cleanly on a computer.

          In other words, if what displays on Reunion takes up 4 pages x 3 pages I should create a custom page that measures about 34"' by 33" (or about 36"x36") ? If that's what you mean, I'll give it a go. Thank you.

            clairebettag : I'm not sure who your reply is for, but as I said in the other thread, I would suggest you stick to a standard paper size.

            Consider if you had a small chart with 1 or 2 boxes, would you create at 5" x 6" paper size for that chart? And if you did, do you have a 5x6 printer and paper? No. You would print that on a standard paper size such as letter, legal, A4, etc.

              It worked!!! Yeah!!! Thank you so much. My chart ended up on 33"x34" and it's perfect. I had no idea I could modify the size of the paper like that. I put the PDF on a thumb drive and took it to Kinko/FedEx. A few minutes later (and $55 poorer) I had my beautiful chart! Marvelous. Thank you sooooo much.
