make Facebook URL in Contacts clickable ?

I'm adding the URL for people's Facebook account in the Contacts info box. I can generate a list of people with FB addresses, but they aren't clickable ? Is there a way to:

a) make the Results display a list of clickable URLs ???
b) I'd like to display in a Family View the appropriate URL, so I could just click on it and have their FB page open.
c) Reports including Contacts should also be clickable

In my testing, if the URL is copied/pasted from a browser window into a Note or Fact field and that field is displayed on the family view, the URL is clickable.

I hope you find this helpful in providing one way to do what you're wanting

thx, that's true, but it's not my situation. I copy the URL from the FB page, but it loses its click ability. Nor can you
make it a clickable link.

Hmmm...what browser is being used? I just noticed it worked for me when copying/pasting from Safari, but not from Firefox.

In follow up to my previous post, after pasting the URL from Facebook into a Note field, if it does not appear as a clickable link, it can be made a clickable link by control-clicking (right-clicking) on the URL within the Note field and selecting "Make Link" from the menu that appears...

I am not copying the link into a Note field. If you open a Facebook page for someone, copy the user link to that FB page, and then add a "Facebook" slot in Contact Info for that person in Reunion, paste the copied link into it, does it remain clickable ??? Nor is it clickable when you look at the Contact info in the Sidebar.

The Contacts Info box is the place for this info, it even has a canned slot for it. It just isn't clickable (at least for me)

Using Mike's example, the links are not clickable for me either...

I don't know if they've ever been - I've had my website address in there for ages, but have never needed to go to that field to get to my website. ;-)

yes, thx for the screen grab. I suppose the email (and others ?) should also be clickable to open in your mail client. My goal is to generate Reports/Books (maybe trees) that someone could just click the link and open the person's FB. I'd much prefer it simply recognized the "https:yada.yadda" and Reunion made it clickable on its own. Also, I'd still like a way to get Contact Info to show up in a Family View, so I could just see physical address, FB page, etc easily.

I apologize for my totally missing the fact you were wanting to do this in the "Contacts."

I will add your request to our wish list to be considered in a future version upgrade of Reunion. As with all feature requests, I cannot make any promises as to when or if it will be implemented. But, I can promise it will be considered as we move forward with improving Reunion

also, the name that appears in the Contact Info box is not refreshed when I change the name in the Family Card for the person ??? The Contact Info box says "changed 20 Apr 2024", but it does not show the new name I have entered for that person. For instance, if originally the person is "John T. Smith" and I change him to "John Thomas Smith", that never gets updated in the Contacts Info box.

I had no idea that Contact Info feature was there! That leads me to a few questions. What happens when someone moves or contact info changes? Is there a log or way to convert the data into events?
I guess my wish list would be to be able to link Apple contacts to this people because it feels hard to manage keeping data current in Reunion and in an address book outside reunion. Thanks.
