Ading newly married family members to primary file.

Followed the directions for exporting from main file. After hitting "export" I am to choose a file to be imported into. HOWEVER, the temp file I made is shaded and can not be selected. I even placed the primary person in the temp file.

    You lost me somewhere.
If you wish to add a married person(s), you add the blood related person first (If not already in file), then add a spouse by clicking the opposite side of the existing person.
    Am I missing something here??

After completing the export and saving the exported file. Close the file that is open and open the file in which you want to "import" that exported file into and choose File -> Import -> Reunion Family File. Then, select the file that was exported and click "Open." In the import window, select what you want to be imported and click Import.

Additional information about exporting Reunion family files and importing Reunion family files can be found in your manual by searching for "export family file" and "import family file," respectively. To access the manual, open your family file and choose Help -> Contents.

I hope you find this information helpful in moving forward
