    Report By Generations?

After using another app, I decided to get back to using Reunion and I was wondering if there is a way to create an ancestor report that lists the poeple by generation?

Look at the Ahnentafel Report from the Reports menu.

Thanks for the reply. I assume that's the ancestor report listed on the menu. I've tried creating several different ways, but I still get a report with names just listed chronologically. I would like to start each generation on seperate pages. I have another genealogy program that does a very good job of formatting by generation.

        Using these settings

I get a report that looks like this - each generation starts on a new page

Thanks for the reply. I followed your instructions and this is what I get. I don't have Microsoft Word. MACOS Test Edit is my only option.

Click on the "Layout" menu here on this screen.

And you get to this screen. Click on Miscellaneous and you can add Page breaks there, plus other things.

Unless your Mac is super old or you chose to delete it, you have a full feature word processor. The app is named Pages. It comes with every Mac sold and is free to you. You can get the job done with TextEdit but it's a lot of manual work to get a good looking product that would be easy in Pages or Word.

OK, thanks to your help I now have the report as I would like it. I'm currently out-of-town, so I'm using an old MacBook that won't run the latest MACOS and I can't install Microsoft Word. It did not have Pages, so I had to install it. I do thank the both of you for your help.
