can a change log be recovered?

Apparently I failed to quit Reunion yesterday after working on a family file on one computer, and today, when I opened the file on a different computer, I was greeted with a file conflict message. There was very little difference between them (1 person, 1 family), so I kept the more complete file.

Reunion went through a multi-stage cache rebuild when the file opened, and sure enough the change log was gone.

My memory isn't what it once was, and I use the change log as a reminder where I had left off. I had made a CCC clone of USER files the day before, and that file still has the change log.

Can that change log be recovered into the kept file?

Update... much to my surprise, that cloned file appeared to be the most complete, so I used it to replace the munged file in Dropbox. So no answer needed for now.
