    Editing a source

Is is possible to edit a source?

    #2
    1. Open Reunion for Mac
Launch the Reunion for Mac software if it's not already open.

    2. Navigate to the Source Section
In the top menu, go to the "Sources" tab, which will show all the sources you’ve previously entered.
Alternatively, you can go to the "People" section and choose an individual from your family tree to which a source is attached.

    3. Select the Source
If you are editing an existing source, locate the source you want to modify. You can use the Source list or the Source Assistant to search for it.
If you have a specific person selected, you may find the source attached under their Facts tab (such as birth, death, marriage, etc.).

    4. Edit the Source
Once you find the source, double-click it or click the "Edit" button to open the source's details.
Here, you can modify fields like:
Title: The name of the source.
Author/Publisher: Information about the creator of the source.
Citation: The source’s citation details (location, publication date, etc.).
Date: Date when the source was accessed or published.
Notes: Add or edit any additional notes related to the source.
You can also adjust the Source Type if needed (e.g., book, document, website, etc.).

    5. Attach the Source to a Fact (Optional)
If the source is related to a specific fact (e.g., birth, marriage), you can attach or edit the relationship between the source and the fact by selecting the appropriate options under Source Citations for that person’s individual facts.
