Reorganise Sources ?

After many years my list of sources is a very long mess and it’s difficult to find stuff. Is it possible to re-order or re-number or even group sources so that there’s some structure and logic to them. And if so, will the numbered references automatically update in the Person fields in which they appear? Any help greatly appreciated!

After many years my list of sources is a very long mess and it's difficult to find stuff. Is it possible to re-order or re-number or even group sources so that there's some structure and logic to them. And if so, will the numbered references automatically update in the Person fields in which they appear?

When "All" sources are listed in the Sources sidebar, it is possible to sort them alphabetically either by Source Template or by Source Data. To do this, click on the "Data" or the "Template" field header at the top of the Sources sidebar.

If either of these methods is done, the source numbers will remain the same and they will continue to be linked to the same people/fields.

Would either of these options do what you're wanting?
