I've just noticed that the descenders in given names in the expanded people list views are all cut off. The only view that correctly shows the entirety of each letter is the single line view.

I thought it might be connected with the fact that given names are automatically bolded in the three expanded views (short, medium, tall). However, this is also happening with dates, which are not bolded. See the example below.

Is there a setting that can address this?

I'm not seeing that on my setup on a 2023 14" MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14.4, and as far as I know Reunion at its default font settings.

Have you altered your font settings for Reunion?

Choose Help > Check for Updates from Reunion’s main menu bar to make sure you’re running the latest build of Reunion 14.

Roger and Gregg, thanks for your responses.

I am using the latest build of Reunion. As far as the font, I don't recall ever changing the setting, though it's possible I did a long time ago. Anyway, it had been Verdana 12, but I changed it to Lucida Grande 12 after reading your reply, and that seems to have solved the problem. Since I like Lucida Grande for the button text in family views, this is actually a step toward visual consistency - the two fonts are similar enough that I'd never noticed the list view font was not the same as the family view font.

Even though Roger's answer led to a solution that works for my font preference, I suspect there's still some underlying issue. A different user might prefer a different font or font size. Shouldn't the line spacing in the list view adapt to any of the available choices?
