    Quirk with date feasibility checking

After entering a few new facts (into R14) I kept having the date feasibility pop=up appearing. So, I went and made alll the options in the Date Settings match what I wanted.

However today, I added the DEATH date for a Ruth Jessie HOBBS (birth date already entered) and it popped up saying "Ruth Jessie was born after Ruth was age 40. Ignore date feasibility for Ruth Jessie".

Now - Ruth Jessie has no children entered. Her mother was Ruth (with no middle name) but why would the date feasibility check even consider Ruth (the mother) when I was entering the date for Ruth Jessie (the daughter)???

    Is anyone else noticing this?

Not sure this helps but I reported this problem months ago with version 13. I wound up turning feasibility checking off.

Just to be clear about what you're reporting here...

Ruth Jessie was in fact born after Ruth (her mother) was 40 - you just didn't expect that warning to appear since you were entering a death date and not a birth date.

The warning was correct - it was just not relevant to the date that was entered.

Greg - OK! My mistake. At least it makes me double-check that I'm entering the dates correctly.

        Thanks
