"source" pop-up for a name acts differently if "General source" is closed

It has come to my attention that the pop-up panel for a NORMAL SOURCE acts differently if the GENERAL SOURCE box is closed.

If the GENERAL SOURCE box is open, both pop-ups versions show the normal (complete) list of options — including the recently used sources. If, on the other hand, the GENERAL SOURCE box is closed, the NORMAL SOURCE box shows only the first three options without the recently used sources listed. (To get them, I have to scroll down to reveal the recently used sources.)

Is this fatal? No! But, for the sake of consistency, it would be nicer if the NORMAL SOURCE pop-up worked the same way whether the GENERAL SOURCE box was open or closed.

See the screen shots for visual conformation.

I do see what you're reporting here.

The menu wants to drop down below the menu button and is hitting the bottom of your screen causing the menu to clip - forcing you to scroll through the menu to get to the items at the bottom.

If you have room, try moving the bottom of your Reunion window up from the bottom of your screen.

We will see if we can find a solution for this when there is not enough room below the menu button to display the menu.

Thanks for the response. Yes, moving the bottom of the page up helps, but the screen space on my 13” MBP is very limited.

This has been fixed in the latest build.

Choose Help > Check for Updated from Reunion’s main menu bar.

Upon further exploration, I have found that the same problem also happens when adding sources to EVENTS, FACTS and NOTES –– in both the individual and family screens. (Even in the newest build.) Thus, this situation should be addressed in the following areas so that Reunion performs in a consistent fashion whenever source material is added in the following areas:
          > Events (for individuals)
          > Facts (for individuals)
          > Notes (for individuals)

          > Marriages, Separations, Divorces, etc.
          > Events (for families)
          > Notes (for families).

Thank you for making the source pop-up menu for individuals naming screen work properly. I await for the correction of this additional minor problem as well.
