After converting my file to the new format, I expected to be able to drag a media file from the General Media area to an event. That would be the intuitive approach. I see no such ability, or maybe I am missing a step.

A new build of Reunion 14 has been released today that - among other things - supports more options for dropping media on events and facts. This build adds support for dropping media on the event and fact fields that appear under the couple buttons on the family view and also media can be dropped directly on entries in the list of events, facts and marriages in the Edit Person and Edit Family windows.
Hopefully, this is what Eli was expecting in the original post on this thread.
Also, this new build adds some visual clues to indicate which fields have media attached.
To get this new build choose Help > Check for Updates from Reunion's main menubar.Gregg Witmer

I am using 14.0 build 240425. Drag and drop of a media file from Finder onto the marriage field on the Family View (the box that is directly above and spanning the two persons in the View) puts the media into General Media and not the marriage event. I assume this is a bug as drag and dropping onto other event field works fine.

If you open the marriage box and display the detail of the marriage in the top portion (with the status bar below it), you can drag into the top portion and it (usually) links to just the marriage field. Sometimes it links to both the marriage and status bars.Eli Savada
