I've decided I want to mark all of my immigrant ancestors, so that I can search on these, and display a list of these, how do I do that?

I've decided I want to mark all of my immigrant ancestors, so that I can search on these, and display a list of these, how do I do that?

On the presumption that information was entered in to the Immigration event field, I recommend doing this...

Choose Find > Advanced Find, select the People tab at the top, and Select these conditions...

Events/Immigration/Immigration Date ... Is Not ... <leave empty>

OR

Events / Immigration / Immigration Place ... Is Not ... <leave empty>

OR

Events / Immigration / Immigration Memo ... Is Not ... <leave empty>

Then, click Find.

Next, press "command" and "Y" on your keyboard to unmark everyone in your family file and mark everyone in that Results list. To save that Marked Set, click on the Marking Shortcuts at the bottom of the Results sidebar and select "Save Marked Set." To recall Marked sets, select Mark in the navbar on the left and click Recall Set.

Where is the Immigration event field

Go to events in your file click on it the scroll down until you find Immigration event field it where Birth Death field on person name

Immigration is not found in the Events tab

You Have to add it I uploaded a screen shot if this is what your are after

Screen shot is not clear as how to add events. I clicked on an individual, clicked on the Edit icon, but nothing comes up as seen in your screen shot.
