    Noteboard vs logs

Out of curiosity, what do you use noteboard for and what do you use logs for?
I use noteboard for person/family research and logs for general research.

Your description of how you use logs vs. the Noteboard is just as we intended...

The Noteboard is a convenient way to arrange, view, edit and report person and family notes.

Person and family notes are nothing new in Reunion. The Noteboard is a feature in added to Reunion 14 that give you a new way to manage the person and family notes.

The Noteboard lists "pointers" or "aliases" to notes for specific people or families.

The Logs, on the other hand, are more general to the entire family file since they can not be assigned to specific people or families. Although, Logs DO support embedded connections to people and families.

Hopefully, others will chime in with other examples.
