After I buy and download V14, what is the proper way to update from V13? Is my V13 family database compatible with V14?

It's a painless process.

You can make a backup of your V13 file for peace of mind.

When you open the V13 file in V14, it will be 'converted' to V14.

The process is outlined here. This page is specific to V13, but works the same as V14

Thanks for the reply. So, I have V14 installed and running. I assume it's OK for me to remove V13 from my PC?

Personally, I would definitely remove any old versions, but I can't speak for everyone here.
