I was very excited to upgrade to Reunion 14, as I have been a customer over 15 years and have paid for every upgrade in the past. I have been using Reunion 14 for a week now and have found a few bugs. I have already added a good deal of information to my database during the past week, as I use my database daily so reverting back to my pre-upgrade file may be complicated.
A few things I have noticed thus far: I have lost the surname bookmarks that I had across the top of the Family View, not sure how to get those bookmarks/links back? I searched around and couldn't remember the steps to access that, or maybe it's been removed as a feature?
I have noticed that CHILD STATUS data has been deleted for all of my file.....for example, I had added twin, triplet, even quadruplets, adopted, etc. All gone. The feature is still in Reunion, but my data did not carry over from previous file.
I am not a fan of the People sidebar search where you must type, then hit "return" for the search to execute, preferred the previous search bar which would automatically populate as I would type and then slowly eliminate names from the results as additional letters were typed.
I hope there are no more "lost data" bugs to encounter.
Years ago, there was an upgrade that automatically doubled every source citation...meaning I had 2 superscripts for each fact and the citations were identical. Over the years, I have slowly had to delete the duplicates as I encounter them. That's something I wish i could do a command to eliminate duplicate source citations.
But at least double citations are better than losing data, such as child status.
Please advise.
