When putting my file into icloud should l just "copy" the file to icloud or should l "move" the file to icloud.
I am trying (very) to get the sync working.
Imac Mini M2 Pro
16GB RAM, 500 GB SSD
1 x 32 Inch Screen, 1 x 24 Inch Curved Screen
Always run the latest Version of OSX
If you copy the file to iCloud, you will then have two files. Which one will you now modify? The one in iCloud that will be synched to your other devices? Or the one that only you see on your own hard drive that will not be synched? The two files will not automatically sync themselves.
In most cases, people move their family file to iCloud (or Dropbox) and then work within that file. That way, your changes will be synched to the other devices.
To clarify: The files you put into iCloud or Dropbox are still on your hard drive, but they will also reside (after the synching process) on the cloud server and the other devices that the cloud server synches with.
