Having just upgraded from Reunion13 to Reunion14, I have upgraded the two family files I use to their Reunion14 editions. When trying to upload these two family files into ReunionTouch I find that the family files have converted themselves from files to folders with each folder bearing the name of the family file, but containing a bunch of files. I can not move the Family file folder into Reunion. There's no methodology apparent to me to crunch that folder back into one file that I can move into ReunionTouch. Help!

Firstly, Do you have only the family file(s) in Dropbox? That is all you should have.
Make sure that no Reunion 13 family files are in Dropbox. (Actually you ought to delete all 13 family files)
Lastly, delete all files in ReunionTouch. Then download the family file(s) anew.
Let us know if all is well again.

O.K. - I've searched for and moved all the old .familyfiles I could find in Dropbox and moved them off. I've trashed ReunionTouch and downloaded the most current version from the AppStore. I made sure I have the most recent version of Reunion14. It all seemed to help. I was able to get the download of my family file in to ReunionTouch working ... but it's been "working" (downloading) for over 14 hours. I read that the initial download may take a "long time." What is a "long time?" - mine's been downloading for over 14 hours - and still no sign of completing the task. My family file does have a lot of photos and it is 16.6 MB large. But that's never presented a problem before.
Should I stop the download now and try again - or should I wait further?Last edited by cponeill; 14 August 2024, 04:40 AM.

Well - all is now quiet on the Western front. It seems to me that my problem may have stemmed from having hundreds of dislinked files. I had to go back through the multimedia report and locate all the files missing from their links. Took a while and, in some cases, had to substitute alternate files - or create new files - to satisfy the program's need for linked files. But now Reunion and Reunion Touch are in good shape - running like champions.

Greg, I have a similar problem, although I don't use Reunion Touch. I just converted to 14, and like the poster above, I now have a folder with a bunch of files which won't open in Reunion. I do use Dropbox, but I already trashed all the Reunion 13 files. And of course Dropbox has synced the erroneous folder on to my three computers. What should I do?
