How to replace hyperlink with 'normal' text in log books

How do I replace the hyperlink (example reuiniontalk.com) with a 'normal' text (example reunion) in log books. The link must of course still work.

To remove a hyperlink in a log, control-click (right-click) on the hyperlink and select "Remove Link" from the menu that appears.

I hope you find this helpful in doing so

Seagram still wants the link to work. Like in text where one takes a word and makes it a link. Reading the text, just sees the word. If one clicks on said word, one goes to the location that is "hiding" behind the word. At least, I think that is what is being asked.

In most apps., that allow links, you would use highlight text then command-k but Reunion's Logs does not allow that - it needs a workaround. As follows:

          Pages > new blank document
In your example type Reunion > highlight text > now use Command-K
Enter the internet address... dialog opens and you can paste or type your link > https://leisterpro.com
Pages allows the selection of Character Styles (by opening Format) > select None and the underline will disappear whilst retaining the link action.
Drag and Drop to your Log but that underline is reintroduced by Reunion

If this was a browser you could have a custom CSS to drop the underline, change colour etc but Logs does what Logs does!

          Hope that helps - Dave

Why so difficult: just drag the link from your browser inside a log.
Put the cursor just after the last character of the link. Use the left arrow to go the the correct place and type the word you want.
Put the cursor again just after the last and use backspace key to remove the unwanted characters from the link.
I have links from a lot of Dutch papers in Logs, with the correct paper name: Telegraaf, Parool etc. Off course the new name is underlined, as indication that it is still a link between lots of other text.
