    Search the Web - FamilySearch

I have noticed the resulting search screen for FamilySearch has a different format when using the "Seach the Web" tool. I can replicate the old format by manually entering the name information in FamilySearch.org, but this defeats the Reunion tool which I use frequently. Attached are two screen prints of the OLD format and the NEW format. Does anybody understand how this feature interacts with external websites?

I'm using the latest build of Reunion 14 and my search results look like your top image. I have never had results that look like your bottom image -- and I can't seem to replicate them.

Have you checked your Reunion Settings for Web and Search?
Can you tell us more about your workflow here? Do you get the bottom results every time?

Thanks for the reply. I started getting the bottom results about two weeks ago and just figured FamilySearch had changed something. Then I started poking around and realized I could get the top (original) results if I manually do the search from FamilySearch.org Search-->Records screen. I have not changed the way I launch "Search the Web" in Reunion and no settings have been changed. Sounds like Gremlins.

Curious. I'm executing my searches the same way as you, but I still can't reproduce your 'bottom' results.

I wonder if there is an account setting inside FamilySearch that has changed or is different.

On a side note, I really hate that FS removed the checkbox to remember me for a couple weeks -- now making me log in every single time I go there. Maybe I can find a setting for that
