DELETING DUPLICATE MEDIA ALL AT ONCE (photos, images, charts, etc.)

    Total NEWBIE!
    Is there a way to
    1. delete all at once duplicate media in my Reunion ~/Pictures/Reunion Pictures folder.
    2. delete all other media in my Reunion ~/Pictures/Reunion Pictures folder that are not used anywhere in the My Family File.
    Thanks for your help!

I don't think you can do that from within Reunion. You might try a 3rd-party application for finding and removing duplicates; e.g. Gemini (and many others). Even if this works, it will probably break some of the links in Reunion.

How many people are in your tree? How much media are you talking about? If the numbers are small, it might be easier to remove all the files from your Pictures folder and back ONE at a time.

Maybe someone else here will have a better suggestion. Whatever you do, remember to make backups!

      Thanks, KirkS:
I will look into Gemini and will backup!
I have numerous images and many duplicates.
It would be a real chore to manually sort them.
I realize this is a precarious situation.
      And I am a NEWBIE.
