Quick method to add children details

I am wondering if there is a quick method to add event details to multiple children in the same family. For example, if I have 5 children on a Census, I want to be able to duplicate pretty much the same details and source across all the children. It takes a lot of time to do each one individually. Is there a quick way to do this?

Are you entering it as an EVENT on the person page?

If so, after you enter the info for the first person, click on the event label, e.g. Census (the word Census itself, on the left side of the row) and CMD+C to Copy.

Go to the second person's events and CMD+V to paste.

KirkS Wow, that is miraculous! How did I not know that, having used this software for decades! Thank you.

Also.... is there a quick way to jump to another child or to create a new child without going back to the parents?

On a person card, in the upper right hand corner of the name area is a down caret. Clicking on that caret will open up a menu of navigation options. Pick Siblings and a list of siblings will open, Pick the sibling you want and go to that sibling's card.
